Refrigeration for Leading Food Manufacturer

A food production company, located in Worcestershire, specialising in pies, pastries and slow cooked meat and fish, recently contacted Dawsongroup Portable Cold Rooms with a requirement for a temporary tempering solution.
The client's fundamental requirement was to be able to store frozen food products within a cold store, at a pre-set temperature of +3°C/+4°C. This in turn would enable the safe defrosting of the product, allowing them to move products onto the production line for processing.
Account Executive, James Richmond, suggested the high capacity cold storage (HCS) unit as the best solution for the company, due to the required operating temperature and the size of the unit.
The site was surveyed and by working with the client, it was agreed the HCS solution would allow 20 pallets of product to be stored whilst being forklift accessible, thus saving the client significant handling cost.
Within a two week period, quotations, contracts and installation were complete, leaving the client with a ready to use inflatable cold storage solution. We received the following feedback from the client:
'The HCS we have rented from Dawsongroup, has provided us with the much needed extra chill space we need without the sudden expense of purchasing a new chiller. The rental of this unit has allowed us to effectively utilise an otherwise redundant area of our warehouse. The HCS was quoted and installed really quickly which in peak season is greatly beneficial to any company and the whole process was really easy and well managed by the team.'
