Dawsongroup Keeping Drinks Cool at Hot Summer Festivals!
9th July 2018
As part of a multi-year contract, Dawsongroup | portable cold rooms have installed the first of four inflatable cold rooms at a festival in Kent.
One of the nation’s most recognisable brewery’s contacted Dawsongroup looking for a high volume cold store suitable for siting on grass. The idea was to create a portable beer cellar that held enough product for the duration of the festival.
Armed with this information, James Richmond, suggested the Inflatable Cold Store (ICS). The ICS is an efficient and flexible solution for this type of project, and can be installed in just 90 minutes. Its 16 pallet capacity would provide the client optimal space for the storage of beer kegs and other drinks throughout the weekend. Only having to use a pallet truck to move it into position, allowed for siting on grass not to cause our install team any issues. This made the ICS the perfect solution to meet this client’s demand.
The client quickly saw the advantages of using the ICS and agreed it was the ideal solution. Python lines were run from the kegs in the ICS unit to the pumps, allowing staff to keep their customers happy and avoid long queueing times. This allowed the brewery to maximise their sales by having staff working as efficiently as possible.
The ICS was successfully installed three days before the event, ensuring the product was down to temperature for the enjoyment of all the festival goers.
