Case Study: Glastonbury Festival
Glastonbury Festival is the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in world. The festival which attracts approximately 177,000 people is best known for its contemporary music, dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and other arts. Glastonbury 2013 took place from Wednesday 26th June - Sunday 30th June.
Dawsongroup portable cold rooms were approached by a popular and well established catering company providing catering services to 3000 private campers at Glastonbury Festival. The company required a temporary cold storage solution to store temperature critical catering supplies.
'The inflatable cold store attracted many interested spectators'
As a practical alternative to traditional container type facilities, Dawsongroup provided the company with an inflatable cold store. The flexibility of the inflatable cold store enabled the unit to be installed in under one hour, sited externally and offer extra capacity.
'We will be sure to use it again for upcoming events.'
